The majority of the work M69 has undertaken is visible on the internet however what you see when you visit one of these sites is just the tip of the iceberg, as developers M69 are not normally responsible for the graphic-design or content of the solutions it develops and the real value lies in the back-end systems, databases and integration it deploys. However the following descriptions give an idea of the scope of each project.
Email4Property
Email4Property is a successful online property finding solution and is well positioned among the top 10 property sites in the country (Hitwise analysis). The solution covers 1900+ locations across the UK and includes in excess of 8,000 estate and letting agents. Now in it's 5th year, Email4Property attracts approximately 1,000,000 visits per month. M69 provides the infrastructure, development and continued support vital to this business' success.
Jobs Rock
Recently seen on MTV, Jobs Rock is a national recruitment website drawing jobs from many internet job boards. Jobs Rock contains over 250,000 jobs covering the UK and many industry sectors. M69 provide the mechanism for collating the jobs from disparate sources and brings them together into one website. M69 is responsible for the database driven back-end, infrastructure and continual development.
Excel Machine Tools
Excel Machine Tools required an e-catalogue to run side by side with their existing hard-copy catalogue. M69 designed and produced a scalable back-end database to drive the Excel Machine Tools website which currently displays approximately 1000 products. All e-catalogue changes and additions are made through a set of central intuitive online administration screens which facilitate ‘live’ catalogue edits. For larger edits, data can be uploaded into the system directly from MS Excel Spreadsheets with no intervention by M69. Currently development work includes discussions on future integration with printed materials.
UK250
UK250 Limited approached M69 in 2000 with an idea for an online web directory for UK websites. Again M69 designed and produced a scalable back-end database to facilitate the creation of 250 websites, one for each category in the directory. In the latter part of 2001, M69 built a sister site for UK250 (www.uk-websitesdirectory.co.uk) to further enhance the sales offering. UK250 is now the UK’s leading online web directory attracting 100,000 visitors per week. M69 understands that the web is critical to the success of this business and UK250’s sales team use the administration screens developed by M69 to make changes to their website simply and with no need for internet development skills. This solution is hosted and supported by M69 and resides on two servers.
